Ms Chandiwari Mallawa Arachchige, from Sri Lanka, is a legal officer at the Department of Commerce. Her responsibilities include implementing trade remedy laws and providing guidance to government agencies on international trade-related issues. She is also involved in Sri Lanka’s bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations with its trading partners.

Ms Mallawa Arachchige holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree (with honors) from the University of Colombo and a Diploma in International Relations from the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies, Sri Lanka. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Staffordshire University, United Kingdom.
