The entire ACWL team would like to send its best wishes to all of its Members, delegates, friends, and their families at this difficult time.
We wanted to inform you that the ACWL is still operating as normally as possible during the current crisis. As usual, the ACWL is following the relevant WTO (and Swiss) protocols, which means the office is closed and we are following the rules on meetings and social distancing. Nevertheless, we are working from home and still working on assisting our developing country Members and the LDCs in dispute settlement proceedings. We are also continuing to provide our users with legal opinions at their request. As shown in the photo, we are having virtual staff meetings and are available for virtual meetings with Missions and capital-based officials on request. Delegates should continue to contact the ACWL’s lawyers by phone or email with any legal queries.
We have postponed our in-person training activities until further notice. We are looking at ways to provide some online or virtual training activities and will be in contact with the participants in our training programmes and study groups as we move forward with this.
We hope that we can continue to work together during the crisis and we look forward to seeing everyone in person when the situation improves.
