Ms Naruetra Prasertsilp, from Thailand, is a Trade Officer at the Department of Trade Negotiations in the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) in Bangkok. She is currently serving in the Agriculture Section at the Bureau of Trade in Goods. She is responsible for policy and trade-related issues concerning agriculture products and for the WTO agriculture negotiations. She is also involved in FTA negotiations on SPS issues, working together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives as the main responsible agency.
Ms Prasertsilp holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law from Thammasat University. While taking her Master’s degree, she worked an assistant to her supervisor, Assistant Professor Dr. Jaruprapa Rakpong. Recently, she started a Masters Degree in Economics and Management at National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). She also participated in an Advance Thematic Course on WTO Dispute Settlement organised by the WTO in Geneva in 2022.
