Ms Anuja Dutta, from Nepal, is a Section Officer at the International Law and Treaties Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. She provides legal opinions on bilateral and multilateral agreements related to trade, investment, and international cooperation, and contributes to the drafting of international treaties and legal instruments. Her work also involves advising on international legal obligations of Nepal, participating in treaty consultations and coordinating with national and international organizations.
Ms Dutta holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) degree from Nepal Law Campus, Tribhuvan University, for which she received a full UNDP scholarship, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Business and International Trade Law from Kathmandu School of Law. She was awarded a fellowship for the United Nations Regional Course in International Law for Asia-Pacific (2024) in Bangkok, Thailand, and a fellowship for the United Nations International Law Seminar (2025) organized by the United Nations Office at Geneva, Switzerland. Ms Dutta is also a license holder of the Nepal Bar Council.
