Mr. Pa Ousman Jabang, from The Gambia, is a State Lawyer in the Civil and International Law Division of the Attorney General’s Chambers and Ministry of Justice. His responsibilities include representing the government in civil claims in domestic courts and tribunals, drafting and reviewing legal documents. and providing legal and advisory support to government departments and Ministries.
Mr. Jabang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Politics from Oxford Brookes University in England, and is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of The Supreme Court of The Gambia. Prior to joining the Ministry of Justice, he worked in the Judiciary of The Gambia as a First Class Magistrate, with years of professional experience in law both in the public and private sectors.
