
The ACWL will host a discussion for its developing country Members and LDCs on the Appellate Body's proposed changes to its Working Procedures for Appellate Review on Tuesday, 26 January 2010 from 13:30 to 15:00 at the ACWL's premises. The discussion will be led by the ACWL’s lawyers and is open to all ACWL developing country Members and LDCs. A light lunch will be served from 13:00 to 13:30.
Developing country Members and LDCs wishing to attend this event are requested to confirm their participation by calling the ACWL Secretariat on 022 919 21 21 or by sending an email to info@acwl.ch by noon on Monday, 25 January 2010.
The Appellate Body’s proposed changes to its Working Procedures were circulated by the Chairman of the Dispute Settlement Body on 12 January 2010 as document WT/AB/WP/W/10. The document can be viewed by clicking the link below.

The proposed changes would affect (i) the deadline for the filing of appellant's submissions, (ii) electronic filing of documents, and (iii) procedures for consolidating appeals of closely-related panel reports.
Please note that this event is separate from the ACWL course on WTO dispute settlement procedures held on Thursdays.
