34 Geneva-based delegates receive the ACWL's Certificate of Training for the 2008-2009 course
On 2 April 2009, the ACWL completed its seventh annual training course. 34 of the 38 Geneva-based delegates who attended regular sessions received the ACWL's Certificate of Training. Among them were 10 delegates from the least developed countries.
The ACWL's Training Programme is divided into three annual courses each covering different aspects of WTO law and procedure. The recently completed course focused on WTO dispute settlement procedures. As part of the course, participants engaged in a moot court simulation of a dispute settlement panel proceeding.
The next ACWL training course on WTO law and jurisprudence will start in October 2009 and will focus on the basic principles of WTO law.
