ACWL hosts information session for non-resident WTO Members and LDCs

In the first week of November 2004, the WTO hosted its Ninth Geneva Week for non-resident Members and Observers. The Geneva Week is a special week-long event bringing together representatives of WTO member countries that do not have permanent missions in Geneva and consequently cover WTO matters from other European capitals or from their capitals, with the purpose of informing these member countries and observers about recent developments taking place at the WTO.

On 5 November 2004, as part of the programme of the Geneva Week, the Centre hosted a lunch-time information session for participants in the Geneva Week. The session was also attended by representatives of least developed countries represented in Geneva. After a presentation on the services of the Centre, participants had an opportunity to ask questions on the Centre and its operations. More than 25 participants took part in the Information session.
